The Steps

Page history last edited by PBworks 13 years ago

Step 1

1.Contact Non profits in a Congressional District. You probably have a lot of them for clients. Every congressional district has between 5 and 7,000 in their districts. I will find the contact info and post to web site, you choose which ones to follow up.

Step 2

2. Schedule a meeting to ask to discuss projects they are doing that are leading to demonstrable results in changing real people's lives on the ground. ( Even if nothing else happens, this alone will start to build a good customer relationship.

Step 3

3. Do a brief write up on the project., and post on a website that I will set up.

STEP 4

4. My team will design a 4 page newsletter, to be printed on the igen. Once done, hyou will take back to the non profs that are featured. Give them 25 for free and offer to sell them more for their own purposes.

STEP 5

5. Keep doing this, a couple of non profits a week. My team will design and deliver PDF files. You will print 25 copies.

STEP 6

6. Once we have finetuned the format, we get the collkection of printed pieces in front of a c ouple of people with money, asking if they would like to sponsor and distribute to their audience. My guess is that the low hanigng fruit is Jerry Nadler, congressperson of NY- 8.

But other possibilties are any large companeis that want to build the brand on a local basis. In this case, the low hanging fruit are banks, and national chains maybe Starbucks , Maybe Whole Foods.

The path to scalabiltiy

If this works on a Congressional District, the model could work on Assembly Districts, State Senate Districts, Councilman Districts.

Using variable print, we can print versions in different languages, or even with different stories for particular subdivisions.

Since it is based on variable data anbd an Igen, I would think this is a unique position for your company, that others might be hard pressed to duplcate.
