The Good News Project

The Good News Project World Tour

Poster designed by Gigi Polo, Parsons '06

The aim of the The Good News Project is to spread the stories of simple things that work to make people's lives better. The hope is that it will help the traditional media replace the outmoded narratives they are using to tell us what is happening and find new ones.

The method is to use all media and attract the international design community to participate by contributing works that tell the story eloquently and effectively.

The role of the Parsons CDT Pub Center is to build the communication infrastructure that makes this possible.

The Good News Project was launched in Belgrade, Serbia in August 2006.

The second exhibition was in Mexico City - November 15-17.

The next activities are being decided now. Plans include more global exhibitions, exhibitions in the US, "Exhibition in Box" and "Exhibition on a Roll" products to be offered through a web interface, and other appropriate techniques and activities to spread a more useful narrative.

Nada Ray, Publisher and Event Organizer, is the head of the Good News Project.
